Do you love Art Deco?
How many of you LOVE Art Deco?
There were a lot of things in my grandparent's house that were from that tie period. And I also l loved watching Fred Astair movies and the Thin Man movies to see the Deco backgrounds and clothing.
The style was modern, geometric and was influenced by numerous art styles like Cubism. Interestingly enough, it was also influenced by American Indian patterns with it's patterns of triangles.
You'll find a huge amount of architectural examples in Miami. Here are a few samples.
I found an online store that has a number of Art Deco invitations, stickers, rsvp cards, and more.
Although they are mostly set up for weddings, the text is easily changed and you could adapt them to a formal dance or an anniversary or even stick with the wedding. Take a look at these and see what you think.
